TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Imaginarium Learning Center website (“Site”) at [www.imaginariumlearning.org] or enrolling in our programs, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you are a parent/guardian enrolling a minor (under 18), you accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Services Offered
Imaginarium provides:

  • In-person/online tutoring for grades 1–8 in core subjects (e.g., math, science, language arts).

  • Educational workshops, camps, and enrichment programs.

  • Progress tracking and parent communication via the Site.

3. Enrollment and Accounts

  • Eligibility: Students must be in grades 1–8. Parents/guardians must provide accurate information during registration.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining password confidentiality. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

  • Parental Control: Parents/guardians manage minor accounts, including consent for data collection (per our Privacy Policy).

4. Fees, Payments, and Refunds

  • Tuition: Fees are listed on the Site or provided during enrollment. All fees are in CAD (Canadian Dollars).

  • Payment Methods: Credit/debit cards or other approved payment gateways (e.g., Stripe).

  • Refunds:

    • Cancellations ≥ 7 days before program start: Full refund.

    • Cancellations < 7 days: 50% refund.

    • No refunds after program commencement, except for medical emergencies (documentation required).

  • Late Payments: A 1.5% monthly interest fee applies to overdue balances.

5. Cancellations and Changes

  • Imaginarium may cancel/reschedule programs due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will receive a full refund or credit.

  • Students may be dismissed for behavioral violations (see Code of Conduct). No refunds apply.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Our Content: All Site content (logos, curricula, worksheets) is owned by Imaginarium and protected under Canadian copyright law. No commercial reuse permitted.

  • Student Work: Imaginarium may showcase anonymized student work for promotional purposes (with parental consent).

7. User Responsibilities

  • Code of Conduct: Students must:

    • Respect instructors, peers, and facilities.

    • Not disrupt classes or misuse technology.

    • Comply with all safety protocols.

  • Prohibited Actions: No hacking, data scraping, spamming, or uploading malware to the Site.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Imaginarium is not liable for:

    • Indirect damages (e.g., lost opportunities).

    • Technical issues beyond our control (e.g., internet outages).

    • Injuries during programs (except for gross negligence).

  • Maximum Liability: Limited to fees paid for the affected service.

9. Disclaimers

  • Services are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee academic outcomes.

  • Third-party links on the Site are not endorsed by Imaginarium.

10. Termination
We may suspend/terminate accounts for breaches of these Terms. Parents will be notified.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by British Columbia and Canadian law. Any disputes will be resolved in BC courts.

12. Amendments
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Check the Site for the latest version.
